Detailed Narrative Description of Project:

§         To identify the achievements and any short-comings in relation to the strategic objectives and issues as outlined in the current Strategic Plan

§         To produce a new draft Strategic Plan for 2004-09

Detailed Description of Actual Services provided by your Company:

• Conducted a stock take of existing documentation related to the 1997-2002 Plan incorporating the findings of the NZAID Review in 2002.

• Assessed the impact and effectiveness of the four strategies and reviewed the achievements/shortcomings of the current plan in the current Plan through constant consultation with the director of SBEC, review of board minutes, annual reports/Work Plans, and past Strategic Plans, as well as consultations with Board members, SBEC staff and key stakeholders.

• Drafted a new Plan for 2004-09 based on the findings of the review.
