Narrative Description of Project:
The
Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat is coordinating studies to prepare the
Pacific Region for the negotiations of New Trading Arrangements with the
European Union. The study on rules of origin provides an analysis on the
level of Pacific trade with the EU, existing issues relating rules of origin
market access to the EU market and developing strategy options for Pacific
ACP states to consider. |

Description of Actual Services provided by your Company:
KVA Consult Ltd provide
overall guidance and coordination for the study, undertook consultations
with Government officials and private sector in the countries visited,
analysis of the findings and developing negotiating strategies on rules of
origin for the EPA negotiations. A presentation of the findings from the
study at the Pacific Trade Experts Advisory Committee (TEAG) would be made. |
