Project involved review of the 1997-2000 Action Plan for Managing
the Environment of the South Pacific Region and development of the
2001-2004 Action Plan for SPREP through a wide consultative process
which involved internal Review by SPREP Secretariat and country
consultations with 14 member countries. |

Internal consultations with SPREP Secretariat
Country consultations with 14 selected SPREP Members
including meetings with Ministers, Senior Government officials,
civil society and facilitation of national seminars on national
environment priorities and issues.
Drafted questionnaires to seek country (stakeholders) views
on relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of SPREP’s
performance and programmes in 1997-2000 period and to obtain
stakeholders’ suggestions on national and regional priorities
for 2001-2004.
